Dolly and her CreaZion family


Internationally acclaimed Filipina actress Dolly de Leon announces her partnership with CreaZion Studios, which shall handle her showbiz career in the Philippines.


In the solo mediacon held on November 21, 2023, at Las Casas Quezon City, Dolly also revealed her upcoming project, the Season 2 of American TV series, 'Nine Perfect Strangers,' together with Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman. The shooting starts in January 2024.



Dolly's rise to fame is credited to the movie 'Triangle of Sadness', where she clinched several nominations as Best Supporting Actress from several award-giving bodies in Hollywood. The movie won four European Film Awards and received 3 nominations at the 95th Academy Awards (Oscars).


Meanwhile, her animated movie 'Iti Mapupukaw' (Cinemalaya 2023) is the country's official entry to the 2023 Oscars to be held on March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, USA.

After all, she's the only Filipino that has British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards and Golden Globe nominations and LA Film Critics Association Best Supporting actress award.



With these huge and historic milestones -- the international recognitions -- Dolly hopes to be a start for everybody, for the Pinoy talent, to be recognized globally. "And I'm happy that the companies I work with are open to collaborating. Nakikinig sila. The first step to growth is listening and observing best practices," she said.


For her local handler, she said: "Sa mahabang panahon bilang aktres Wala akong agent. I think this time kailangan ko na rin." She added that she already have handlers for her international projects.


Sporting a blonde hair, Dolly just came from a shooting in Chicago where she shot "Ghost Light" three weeks ago before the solo presscon for her.


The film, television, and theater actress also has an extensive stage experience and a BA in theater arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. 



In 2023, British Vogue listed de Leon among "30 of the world's most famous stars". She was also invited to be a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.


Her recent movie, A Very Good Girl, starred her along with the country's young superstar Kathryn Bernardo.
