It’s “Green and Bright” Christmas at The Westin Manila

The Westin Manila welcomed the holiday season with a Christmas tree and lantern lighting ceremony on November 8, 2023, with the theme, “Green and Bright.” This was the second event in this year's Paskonstelasyon 2023 lineup for Marriott Bonvoy's constellation of holiday celebrations across the Philippines.

This year’s theme was inspired by The Westin brand's design anchored on the concept of biophilia, which refers to people's innate need to connect with nature and how that connection affects our well-being.

Attended by tourism and government officials, corporate clients, media, Marriott Bonvoy members, and hotel guests, the festive ceremony was spearheaded by The Westin Manila General Manager Alexander Dietzsch, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager Barun Jolly, hotel Director of Marketing and Sales Megee Yap, and Mandaluyong Mayor Benhur Abalos.

GM Dietzsch happily shared a few milestones from this year, including the completion of the hotel’s 303-room inventory, the opening of two new function spaces, and the launch of the Heavenly Spa by Westin.

“Finally, guests here experience the same signature wellness treatments that are available in other Heavenly Spa branches in Westin hotels across the world,” he said.

“An exciting one that’s slated next year is the opening of our rooftop bar and restaurant, which we are all looking forward to. This dining concept, created in collaboration with a renowned and acclaimed Spanish chef, will feature a menu that primarily consists of seafood delights and meats. It will have an al fresco area, which is ideal for social gatherings. We’re committing a lot of effort and time into this project, and we can’t wait to welcome you there once it’s finished,” he added.

Yap also shared: “We put a lot of heart into making this season Green and Bright for all. Aside from our Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year buffet events at Seasonal Tastes, we’re also offering well-curated options and great ways to taste the season and spread the holiday cheer.”

The event included a grand feast with some of the Christmas and New Year buffet highlights and other delightful treats, a parade of the twelve cocktails of Christmas, and a display of festive treats and limited-edition gift baskets.

Fur babies are also in for a treat from the A La Bark menu which now also includes take-out delight.

Make The Westin Manila your home this holiday season.  The Holiday Getaway room package includes breakfast for two persons, an Afternoon High Tea, a festive giveaway, and a P1,000 food and beverage credit. This is valid for stays until Jan. 7, 2024.
