ZOOCOBIA: LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Can you feel the love tonight? Definitely! As we lit our wishing lantern and watch it fly and fade out in the dark of the night. That was part of the post Valentine event, Zoocobia’s “LOVE IS IN THE AIR” held February 15, in Clark, Pampanga.
Zoocobia has successfully brought back the much awaited Night Lantern Festival. Hundreds of wish lanterns were lighted up all together signifying that love conquers all, even the sky. Indeed, couples, family and friends, got enthralled as they ushered their lanterns – together with their wishes and dreams— fly up the sky.
That was the culmination of the day’s event and tour of Zoocobia. Earlier, visitors, including us, print and online media, toured the 10-hectare fun zoo theme park.
Though we arrived quite late – just on time for the sun set – we were able to catch up and enjoy some attractions like the Maze, Zoocology Museum, The Barn, Giant Slides and Birds of Paradise, a close encounter with different colorful birds nestled on tree branches. These bird specie called parakeets would love to be fed in any visitors hand! Just be sure you have enough feeds for 5 or more birds.
Prior to the lantern festival, the night offered fascinating shows featuring Night Owl Show and Fancy Pigeon Display. Our Aeta brothers showed their creativity through enchanting cultural performances and parade of animals being taken cared of in the zoo. And the star of the night? The biggest python now being housed in this fun farm. We did miss the newest and exciting activity in Clark, Pampanga -- the CLARKZILLA 4X4 RIDE -- one big rough ride in a heart stopping rough course. One gets the chance to manouver a powerful 4-wheel engine in an off road trail or just enjoy the hype of a very exhilarating ride. Them 4x4 ride offers mind-blowing drive towards the slopes, mud and terrains using a well-secured leisure vehicle. It could challenge oneself to zooper up your 4x4 experience by crossing river, lahar and of to Mt. Pinatubo.
Neverhtless, we were able to try the Zooc Ride -- the first gravity car ride in the Philippines which is suitable for all ages for that thrilling experience. The short hours we spent weren’t really enough. We wanted more but we have to travel back to Manila. I think we are coming back sometime in March to complete our tour. Try Zoocobia experience for yourself this summer. For inquiries you may visit our website www.zoomanity.com.ph or contact 899-9828 or 899-9808.

Building a robust national ICT infrastructure

The opportunities from digital innovations were accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic as limitations on mobility prompted citizens to accelerate migration to digital spaces. In the Philippines, these changes are evident in the growth of digital payment systems, online meeting platforms, electronic health services, online retail, direct delivery services, and many others. However, with increasing connectivity comes increasing cyber threats. That’s why efficient solutions and infrastructure are essential in combating cyber threats and ensuring business survival. Individually, Filipinos are susceptible to data breaches and privacy violations online. On a societal level, cyberattacks by state or non-state actors on critical infrastructure can undermine national security and impact economic activity. While cyber threats originate online, their consequences can manifest beyond the digital space into our physical lives. These kinds of attacks also have direct economic costs. In fact, f
