Jollibee pulled off the best Christmas party ever for 2013!

Together with members of the media – TV, print and online bloggers – and their respective families, Jollibee shared the Season of Joy with fun games and prizes at BCG’s Mind Museum. The year-end occasion also formally launched the holiday season’s treat which is the Jollibee Chickenjoy Bucket Treats! Members of families – from tots to teen-aged girls and boys and even grandmas – joined family games and won exciting prizes like Dancing Jollibee doll, GCs and Mind Museum entrance tickets!
The party went livelier with the presence of ever smiling Jollibee mascot! Kids got so excited and instantly gravitated around Jollibee and got the thrill of their lives dancing with the most famous mascot in the Philippines!
Showbiz’s dancing diva Regine Tolentino and her family also graced the party. They performed a zumba dance number to remind party-goers that they need to exercise even in the days of bingeing and merry-making. There’s no question how good Regine is in the dance floor.
Her husband Lander Vera Perez, now a certified Zumba dancer himself, and their daughters Reigne and Reigen also wowed the audience with their dancing prowess.
And the star of the party? Everyone’s favorite Chickenjoy and its two new side dishes- creamy, delicious Mashed Potato and sweet, juicy Buttered Corn. Jollibee’s holiday offering is the Chickenjoy Bucket Treats with 8 pieces of Chickenjoy, 4 rice, 4 new side dishes, 4 Chocolate or Strawberry Sundaes and 4 regular Coke. Perfect for a family of 4-8 persons. Kids couldn’t get to wait for the mouth-watering crispy-licious chickenjoy! And the moment it was served, the kids and the kids-at heart had become quiet and savored the festive treat before them. Indeed, Jollibee has become a second home for every family member more so during the most wonderful time of the year like Christmas days which is made of unforgettable Jollibee moments with the family or relishing satisfying lunches together after malling or shopping. Generations of families have grown up with Jollibee that it has become ever-present in their lives – from ordinary days spent together to milestone celebrations.
I have had the opportunities of covering Jollibee events for years now. My son was about six year old and my daughter was 2 when I started following Jollibee through its CSR program MaAGA ang Pasko with then Jollibee Ambassador Aga Muhlach. Through the years, Jollibee events (whether promoting a new product or awarding teen ambassadors, outstanding families, etc.) have always been an exciting event for me. But the December 2013 bash was most memorable because it was the first time for me to win a grand prize – 12-month supply of Jollibee Bucket Treat! And I won it with my youngest daughter, Angel, who is the most –Jollibee-fanatic of all my four kids.
She shed tears of joy when we won the grand prize during the day’s event. Thank you, Jollibee! Thank you, Kezia, Ginny and the rest of Stratworks team, who have made me “suki” of their events. Thank you, Arline Adeva, Senior Manager and Head of PR at Jollibee Foods Corporation --who handed us out prize – who has been supportive of my past events in other publications.

Building a robust national ICT infrastructure

The opportunities from digital innovations were accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic as limitations on mobility prompted citizens to accelerate migration to digital spaces. In the Philippines, these changes are evident in the growth of digital payment systems, online meeting platforms, electronic health services, online retail, direct delivery services, and many others. However, with increasing connectivity comes increasing cyber threats. That’s why efficient solutions and infrastructure are essential in combating cyber threats and ensuring business survival. Individually, Filipinos are susceptible to data breaches and privacy violations online. On a societal level, cyberattacks by state or non-state actors on critical infrastructure can undermine national security and impact economic activity.
