ASENSO PINOY CELEBRATES  7TH  ANNIVERSARY  AT SKYDOME SM NORTH EDSA


ASENSO PINOY, the country’s enduring magazine TV program showcasing  entrepreneurship, agri-business  , tourism and culture aired every Saturday at 11:30am and Sundays at 12:30pm on PTV-4,  is now 7 years old.

With its theme “Asenso Pinoy: Pitong Taong Kaagapay sa Negosyo at Pag-ASENSO”, the program’s 7th Anniversary event  will be held on July 31, 2012 at the Skydome, SM North EDSA, Quezon City  from 10:00am to 8:00pm. It will be highlighted by Entrepreneurs’ Assembly – a gathering of  successful entrepreneurs – who were featured in the show  for the past seven years.  This was disclosed by Mr.Francis Cardona, the show’s creator and host.

“This would be an opportune time for participants, especially start-up entrepreneurs and business  students,  to interact with successful businessmen and learn secrets of their success.  There would be trade booths showcasing various products, services and business concepts which would  provide attendees gainful knowledge on entrepreneurship. It would be a day of fun and learning, freebies and entertainment” Cardona averred.

The past seven years saw Asenso Pinoy’s growing advocacy of promoting entrepreneurship and positive values among our fellow Filipinos (kaPinoy).  The show’s efforts in producing quality and relevant features has earned the nod of revered  award giving bodies such as the Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) , KBP Golden Dove Awards and others. It has recently been nominated to the PMPC Star Awards for Television.  Asenso Pinoy is a television project   of Radio Corporation of the Philippines, headed by its President  Mr. Fel B. Billones, in cooperation with its production partner Spotlite Media Services, Inc.

The opportunities from digital innovations were accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic as limitations on mobility prompted citizens to accelerate migration to digital spaces.
