The highly anticipated 41st Star Awards for Movies turned a gloomy, rainy night into a  spectacular event  for the entertainment industry.   Staged and produced by GSD Studios at the Makabagong San Juan Theater  on November 30 , the biggest names and brightest personalities in Philippine cinema were in attendance to receive the Star trophy bestowed upon them.   The Star for All Season, Ms. Vilma Santos, and Kapuso Drama Prince, Mr. Dennis Trillo, led this year’s pack for best performers in their respective movie, respectively. Leading the charge for Uninvited ,  Santos took home the coveted Movie Actress of the Year award (her 10th  trophy from PMPC Star Awards for Movies ) , along with a special citation  as the Female Star of the Night.
