The winners will be announced at the awards night on September 30 at Gateway Cineplex 18, Araneta Center in Quezon City. A successful cine festival held annually, several full-length films were already sold out at different screening times on its first day alone, on September 23. The winning streak follows through the following week especially during the late-afternoon and evening shows. Even before the festival began, moviegoers lined up at Gateway Cineplex 18 and TriNoma for tickets.   Rowena Garcia of Bulacan won the GameZone Tour Season 5 Championship, taking the ₱500,000 top prize and the Championship Ring and becoming the first woman to win the title in the competition’s five seasons. Garcia, who competed as Alas ng Bulacan, came through a season that ran from August 3 to September 19. Season 5 was played in daily rounds, with players earning points every playdate and the season standings deciding who advanced.
