Promising OPM talents take center stage at the 17th PMPC Star Awards for Music

It has been proven for years that earning a PMPC Star Award is highly prestigious and can significantly elevate a celebrity's career. Handed out by the Philippine Movie Press Club, the awarding is often described as the local equivalent of the Emmys, validating an artist's talent, bolsters industry credibility, and opens doors to lucrative projects and endorsements.
That's why every single artist in the entertainment industry dreams of receiving his or her own star awards.

Congratulations in advance to AQ Prime Music talents Zéla and Bilib for winning in the 17the Star Awards for Music in their respective categories.
Zéla earns the Female R&B Artist of the Year Award for her hit song “Pogi Boy” while P-Pop group Bilib scored a win in the Dance Recording of the Year category for “Say Whatcha Wanna Say.
For rising singer-songwriter Zéla, the recognition is more than just an achievement — it is a significant step toward reaching a wider audience and sharing her unique musical style with more listeners. Though raised in the US, she expressed her dream of bringing her music to greater heights especially in the Philippines - - "I'm a Filipino! she said - - making this nomination all the more meaningful.
While already a recipient of several local awards, Bilib earned its first star alongside P-Pop sensation BINI and their chart-topping hit “Salamin, Salamin.”
Composed of JMac, RC, Rafael, Zio, Carlo and Clyde, Bilib continues to make waves in the Philippine music scene since its debut in July 2023 including gigs alongside the country's biggest P-Pop group SB19.

The awards night will also mark a memorable milestone for young stars Jayda Avanzado, Dylan Menor, Jarren Garcia, and Marthena Jickain, who are set to serve as hosts for the first time. Their musical backgrounds make them fitting choices to lead the evening’s festivities.

Adding excitement to the event, co-presenter Playtime will also present special Fan Favorite Awards during the ceremony which shall have a livestream throuhg the official YouTube Channel. The nominees for the Star Awards for Music Fan Favorite Award Powered by PlayTime Entertainment are:
