Fun day at Carmona, Cavite

Last year, I was in the Queen City of the South to cover Sinulog Festival. Walking a kilometer or two to be able to come near and to get away from the center celebration of the Sinulog parade was really tiring.   But I had the grand time of my life savoring the sights and sounds of the paradise resort of Shangri-la Mactan where I stayed for two nights! This year I went to Carmona, Cavite upon the invitation of the Department of Tourism and its local counterpart in Cavite. I decided I needed to travel and unwind – on my special day. NORA, DINGDONG LEAD WINNERS IN 2012 MMFF FIRST PUBLISHED AT ABANTE ONLINE SATURDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2012   THE country's superstar, Nora Aunor, and debonair actor Dingdong Dantes, bagged the Best Actress and Best Actor trophies, respectively, in the Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night held Thursday at the Meralco Theater. Ikalawang pagkapanalo ito ni Dingdong bilang pangunahing aktor mula sa MMFF. Last year, nanalo siya para sa pelikulang "Segunda Mano"; and this year para naman sa "One More Try" kung saan kasama niya sina Angelika Panganiban at Angel Locsin.
